I just posted to Facebook—ironically, since I haven't opened it up in ages. But it genuinely felt fun to randomly write on the "walls" of old friends I haven't spoken to in, what, 20 years? yep, still have an acct!

me too!!!  mostly for the local groups in my community to know what's going on in the town.  But the only way to keep up with some old friends i never talk to.  That and WC are my two social media things now....and that is like 2 mins twice a week.
