This has got to be due to Covid, right? Imagine being right around retirement age and being hit with the pandemic. Lots of people around that age died, it was probably a wake up call to go ahead and retire rather than wait another year or so

The Baby Boom was the largest generation up till that point and they have reached peak retirement age, some after delaying for quite a while due to the last couple financial downturns.
