on planing vs acting when shit goes wrong

I'm doing consultancy work for a product of two young web3 founders that navigated the bull extremely well. just went out of a round analyzing their long term strategy. they're healthy financially but haven't really thought about strategies for a prolonged bear market. Just made em realize it's critical to have some plans laid out sooner rather than later for the case things go sour. 

So much easier to plan on tough decisions in advance while skies are clear than to be confronted with it when the storm is on the top of one's head. People get emotional, decisions get messy and the whole thing can be jeopardized.
