anecdotally:

yeah, it does. I've noticed I'm more likely to interact with people I also know I purchased. bit of chicken/egg thing there, but it makes sense. for whatever reason, they're top of mind and I'm more likely to take note of their content.

the economic side is also true: I'm likely to interact with fan token entities I own because I am literally helping those tokens appreciate with my own moxie rewards.

for the moment at least, they do increase engagement.
