If Warpcast added the ability to make channel casts not appear in your profile feed, I think it could increase the likelihood of communities choosing FC over telegram or discord. Benefit of this is it enables curating a primary identity while still contributing to dorky sub cultures.

yeah, maybe the feed should be: - who you follow + trending casts - and you can opt-in to certain channels to add that content in your feed if it's trending in that channel

I think this is super subjective based on the channel, real time things like /debate or /apple around WWDC might benefit from being hidden from the main feed but I don't know how you make it work without: A nightmare of individual options that will confuse a lot of people Admin setting the option for people, not ideal Warpcast setting all or nothing for people, where the home feed is the only thing shown on the profile or everything is shown (current status quo) All that said I would like to hide my /debate posts because its not what I would want people being bombarded with on my profile feed.

Could just be an additional toggle to narrowcasting: Only followers of this channel will see this cast & it will not show in your personal feed
