I thought Civil War was complete ass. An entire movie optimized for having cool shock-value stills without anything else of merit

There are some cool questions raised around journalistic integrity and stuff like that. But ultimately pretty boring and flat IMO

I thought it had decent execution but agree on the script. All of his films require huge suspension of disbelief, which doesn’t really work in this case. 

I kept thinking it could have been so much better as a dark comedy written by the same people who made Veep.
