I live a block south of the walk of fame. Just went outside and ash is raining down from the hills like snow. Not a lot but enough to make me realize I went to bed with a false sense of security. 

That fire is fortunately under control. Hopefully stays that way. 

Btw my old music manager lost his home. He couldn’t get fire insurance because of its age. I know he had to really stretch to buy it, so if you’re feeling generous I know he’d appreciate any help:
