actually I think any form of communication is prob not enough. people are already not giving them the right-of-way. my prediction is people are going to increasingly drive aggressively around self driving cars as they transition from novelty to annoyance and class hierarchy grievance.

at first maybe but for interstate trips people will love them soon as they take their first ride. any kind of aggressive driving would be caught on camera also.
