ngl, i love Transformers. Not only are they a nostalgic memory from my childhood, but I enjoyed a handful of the earlier movies as well.

As I suspend my belief that metal based aliens can replicate machines, my breaking point is with the ones that have bullet based weapons.

They don't carry around massive amounts of gun powder and one has to assume they would be using their own bodies to somehow manufacture endless supply of these metal projectiles as they go around destroying things.

I'd be more resigned to transformers simply fighting or using lasers/energy based weapons.
