God speed🤣 I have some unsolicited advice for you One very important tip for you: make sure to crate train her (I always thought crates were bad, they’re not, the dogs enjoy it) And do several forced nap times during the day, these dogs will constantly keep themselves stimulated otherwise instead of getting the rest they need Also, at some point you might notice that even though you have given her plenty of mental stimulation and the adequate amount of physical stimulation, she will still be hyper and full of energy When you search on the internet why, you’ll see people always saying she needs more exercise, especially on Reddit This is FALSE, it’s because she’s actually exhausted but keeps stimulating herself to stay awake, give her a nap time of 2 hours or so and she will be much calmer If you have any questions during raising her, feel free to DM me, it can be exhausting at times

Make sure to do us on this first, I see you got your pup very young which is great But with these dogs it’s essential you do this in the short window of time you have, it will make a massive difference in all kinds of behavior with strangers https://www.louisianaspca.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Puppy-Socialization-Checklist.pdf There’s an explanation at the top also

Thank god, I thought you'd get her now. I saw you posting you were very tired at the moment and this is no walk in the park. It's an Australian Shepherd right? Have you raised any other dogs before?

Oooh I see, I’ve never seen blue Merle coloring in other dogs than Australian shepherds That will make it a lot easier, Australian shepherds and border collies are both one of the smartest dogs with a lot of energy But collies are way more dedicated to the job while an Australian shepherd will mess with you quite often in innocent but at times annoying ways 🤣

Tbh I wanted a Border Collie but they are known for not liking children very much, so then I found this Brazilian breed and it was instant love! Better temper, similar build, very smart dogs! Blue/Gray ovelheiros are just.... *sighs* .. impossible not to fall in love with. I'm a bit afraid of her spare energy in the beginning, not gonna lie It's been a while since I had a puppy!
