While I’m not telling you to believe or disbelieve anything, you have to look at it in the framework of where it comes from

In the relevant scriptures, it is said that very rarely does one work out karma in the same lifetime as the one he created it in 

It only happens in situations where someone has done tremendous evil or good, or insane proportions 

Usually the life you see someone living, is the fruit of what he did in previous rounds.
