This is finally a good step imo, I suggested this to them with the support of many people back when the price was still good 

At that time it would have worked wonders, because it would have given people a reason to stake their airdrops instead of sell them once they had 10k

And also gave users that normally had a small allocation, a reason to buy degen for other reasons than speculative 

Ofcourse once the price is down and hype reduces, the incentive to lock up for 3 months is much smaller

It’s not meant to be fun, it’s meant to keep supply in holdings, provide reason to hold airdrops instead of dump them, creates a demand because of the benefit that holding gives, instead of purely speculative demand before 

Before the average person held 10k for utility, the rest was speculative, but when price is down, speculative demand disappears

Now on the other hand many people buy 500k-1mill degen to lock up for allowance, and many will add their airdrops to their stake for more allowance 

It is actually of huge benefit for anyone holding degen as its the only thing that creates a chance of it not going to zero

I don’t know what kind of advisors they have. Now people are really talking about staking as a trap 🪤 & not any fun or benefit to them
