Demand: 10.000 degen to tip Problem: - Demand only by big accounts on farcaster because otherwise allocation worthless - as price drops, demand for allowance goes down, willingness to hold even 10k evaporates - so only demand comes from speculative buyers which is plenty during hype, but periods like now: uh oh Solution: - create a reason to hold more than 10k DEGEN - like I suggested before, make PART of allocation depend on amount staked Why? 1. Makes people keep way more of their airdrops to stake for more allocation 2. Even non influencers will be able to get a good allocation by buying and holding more = super good, way more demand 3. People will be effectively trying to buy more than eachother which is way healthier than it is now: Get airdrop, dump everything or everything but the 10k to hold, why would you hold if you’re not bullish? If you get allocation, many that are not longterm bullish would still hold a lot, because of the benefits allocation provides for account growth

I know some of the pb holders will mad of what will i say, but jacek just focus on the pb holders. Non-pb holders is a lot compared to the pb holders that just swapping and swapping of degen tips lol

Isn’t this Season’s tipping allowance in part based on DEGEN holdings? Regardless, I think the staking idea is interesting. It would certainly drive demand and put allowances in the hands of those with skin in the game and who are incentivized to see the ecosystem succeed.

Agree with you gig, need reasons to hold 10.000 degen and for a new account it's really hard to reach even 10 allowance/day so yeah no newcomers anymore and holders keep decreasing by the time😩

I think this is all because of the new algo implemented in S5, why? because many farcaster users are having difficulty have allowance in this season, imagine ranking under 1000 only getting 5 allowance every day 🤯. And in the end they are sell the degen before dip 😅

I think the problem is that the rank is below 2000 and the allowance is 5. Many WARPCAST participants, who are also general investors, do not own PB. I think that by giving only 5 allowances to the investor, you are giving the impression of low value. I'm not criticizing management, but it may be better to reconsider the system that only gives preferential treatment to the top 2,000.

Yep. If you see early /farther when they locked only top 100 can get allowance, the market goes up. So it's possible for amount of holding degen affect allowance amount because it's pretty much win win sollution.
