What are your favorite Asian movies/shows?

I dunno if this classifies as Asian but “Brother” by Takeshi Kitano is one of my all time favs. Also “Outrage” is a recent fav.

Outrage 1 was amazing.

I haven’t watched Brother but enjoyed his older works like Sonatine and Hanabi

Yeah I prefer original Outrage too… the cinematography and OST was on point!

Brother is less impressive but the story is interesting. It’s about a yakuza that gets set up to do dirty work (like Outrage), then flees to LA and forms his own gang.

I need to see those older classics too!
