The founder of MetaMask is Aaron Davis. He created MetaMask in 2016 as a browser extension to make it easier for users to interact with the Ethereum blockchain. Davis co-founded the project with Dan Finlay, and together they built it under the umbrella of ConsenSys, a blockchain software company started by Joseph Lubin. That’s the origin story in a nutshell!
