Whenever I'm listening to my liked songs on shuffle and notice there's been 180 seconds of pure silence, I get kinda annoyed until I realize it's that one song on this album. Then it's all good!

Illest Motherfucker Alive! Totally forgot about this since I don't think the silence is there on DSPs. What do you think they were trying to communicate by doing that?

I think hidden tracks were definitely a thing back in the day, a nice surprise when you thought the CD was done. Could also be a way to separate the main album from the deluxe tracks

With the +180 minutes this track has given me to contemplate this, I still got nothing concrete. 😆

It reads like a hidden track, though would best work on a vinyl.

It also seems like a foreshadowing to Kanye’s explorations of minimalism, like the Yeezus and Donda album covers.
