Nice to see someone do this! Its interesting to think about how clients will make decisions around which channels to show or hide especially when two channels have the same name or cover a similar topic.

Can see this becoming challenging as more channels spin up. 

Reddit has similar issues. You can see how many people are in the subreddit + online which serves as a good proxy of how good the sub is

# of Mints could be a good initial filter and/or active channel casters/total ppl in channel as engagement metric

Good lessons from Reddit but it’s centralized and they don’t care about interoperability. FC clients can get creative with their own rules/filters. It will be interesting to see the dynamics play out. But in long run, if FC scales, channels become their own social networks.
