I’m on a quest to get more people to use a .eth as their Farcaster username. If you don’t use your .eth as your username, why not and what would make you change your mind?

I am on the same mission mainly because I want onchain identity and reputation to be a thing and I think ENS plays a big role in that respect.

A few questions: 

Are you designing FIDs as a competitor to ENS? 

Can I use FIDs with non-FC apps? 

Which block explorer can I drop my FID in and get information about the user?

Also, FID does not give me info about a users wallet. Right now WC only shows FID and FC custody wallet. Can’t really learn much about a user without them connecting the wallet they actually do stuff with.
