one thing i still think wallets need to work on is their multimedia experience. if i'm going to be collecting essays, blog posts, podcast episodes, videos, and pictures in wallet, how will those be displayed?

I’d even argue that this problem also applies to the platforms where we mint NFTs from. I’ve seen too many shift direction or completely go offline. It’s why im not as excited to collect onchain art as I used to be

I thought OpenSea would be leading the way on this. It comes down to token standards and smart contracts, and the industry seems to have settled on a few so im not sure why these frontends are still struggling to aggregate and display all the media types properly. It's a real problem because when things break, it alienates both artists and collectors

the whole nft scene is a mess imo. needs a complete overhaul but who will bell the cat?
