What if we created Farcaster rewards instead of:in addition to Warpcast rewards? Use the protocol treasury for this instead of getting tempted to hire full time protocol staff which will undoubtedly gate-keep & ‘make work’ to stay employed. The protocol bloat is real. FC is pre diabetic. 😢 Trending the protocol treasury to ZERO via reinvestment in the network for app devs seems virtuous. This should also have the ‘benefit’ of slowing down protocol changes. Break ‘the protocol’ up into different protocols so each may harden & compete. 🙏

I like this idea. We should also be doing rewards for client builders not just frame builders. It’s strange that only frames are being considered as apps that qualify for rewards atm

💯 The Coinbase Wallet promise to integrate makes this less of a fire to put out but yeah apps that onboard users independently are the heroes here. This fund could change lives & grow the network. Hiring a protocol dev staff would be a horrible decision imo.
