Has anyone built a tool that scrapes a Farcaster thread and summarizes or analyzes it using ChatGPT?

yeah just write @atlas summarize in a cast thread or quote cast a thread and do the same

Sweet, thank you! Are you using Neynar to scrape the threads, and are you capturing the full depth of replies in the thread?

sure, not that many ppl use it

yep, using neynar, and i think it goes 2-3 replies deep, neynar maximum is 5 iirc 

i've played around with different configurations but haven't done that much a/b testing

It’d be cool to build a client that only shows casts with deep threads. Users could either read through them or get AI summaries

definitely, the atlas frame will have that

i also made it that one button click expands all the nested replies (2 replies deep)

a lot easier to scan them quickly

I like frames, but I don’t buy into the idea that everything has to be a frame. Farcaster needs a standalone client dedicated to long threads. There are so many great conversations on FC, but they’re not easy to discover
