I reckon most Aussies know American culture and politics way better than their own, and that's probably true of a lot of countries, with the US exporting so much film, TV, games and music. I imagine Hollywood has already been losing steam with shows like Squid Game showing the world that there is a huge appetite for other cultural representations... and now with all the US tariffs, I have to imagine that will speed up. When the rest of the world imports less and less American culture, what does that do to tourism, to innovation, to the US's relevance to the world? I have no idea, but right now could be such a pivotal moment for the US for so many reasons.

This is an interesting topic. I was definitely raised on American tv and movies so know a lot about their culture. My kids are the same thanks to that and NBA. I’m curious to see if that changes in the generations to come. 635 👏🏻
