On the 15th local time, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), released three Israeli captives. In Khan Younis, located in the southern Gaza Strip, Al-Qassam fighters handed over the captives to staff from the International Committee of the Red Cross. According to the plan, the Red Cross will transport them to an Israeli Defense Forces assembly point inside Gaza. Subsequently, the three will be escorted by the Israeli military out of Gaza to a nearby military facility for initial physical and mental examinations and to meet with their families.
On the 14th, the Palestinian Prisoners Affairs Department announced that as part of the sixth prisoner exchange plan, Israel would release 369 Palestinian detainees that day, including 36 serving life sentences. This marks the sixth exchange of captives since the ceasefire agreement came into effect. 0 reply
