shifting from "influence" to pay-to-play re: determining which accounts distribute the most moxie is where the road ends for me (how does buying moxie better equip me than others to determine the best content, for example?)

here's the current list of user's with highest farscores atm, who can give out  the most moxie

a lot of the people on the top of the list rn are because they've been designated at Moxie Heroes this week and have a 1 week 2x boost to their farscores

they got that designation by math that analyzed who was recently consistently interacting with a diverse set of users on the network (vs small circles) in a manner that was appreciated (high response rates) and with people who themselves have high quality scores. The goal with the heroes program is to empower such people to give out more moxie to a wider range of great content creators who might not be recognized as much otherwise. It's actually worked very very well and we're leaning into it.

We couple this with dynamic allowances which cuts back farmers and increased allowances for higher quality contributors

again, the pay-to-play element simply doesn’t align with how moxie has been (and continues to be) presented

does going from an organic far score below 1 to the largest far score (far boosts included) make sense to you?

@bigdegenenergy.eth 's involvement is essential to securing the network and making it viable for everyone. For doing that -- and he doesn't have to -- the protocol enables him to give out rewards

the data also shows that he's one of the absolute best on the network at doing so, far better than most OGs who stick to themselves vs. casting a wide diverse network of engagements

we want MORE @bigdegenenergy.eth 's not less

right now @bigdegenenergy.eth is one of the best users at farcaster at distributing moxie to many many worth creators. and, he's doing so in a way that strengthens the protocol for every other user. 

we absolutely love it. he's performing a mitzvah for the entire community.
