you may have intended this quote cast as a dunk on me, but i’m afraid it may be dunk on yourself :) most outsiders would look at the time and energy many of us have spent engaging with your analyses and criticism — and with you — and see it as a signal of curiosity for criticism, not a refusal of it

criticism isn't always delivered in the way we want it to be, not all discourse is respectful. plenty to dunk on about art's letter but imo rejecting in total some of the broader dynamics he raised is insincere. many founders I know talk privately about issues related to building on FC, the relationship between WC and the protocol. many, many users share concerns about shadow bans & the centralization of engagement. the data does show that over the past few months we haven't seen newer accounts rising the ranks, and there is a perception of favoritism & exclusivity. we don't have to agree that this is coming from the top down to care about changing that! we don't need to like how he handled things, but I think its a big miss if everyone is just jumping over each other to affirm how much they love Farcaster, how they'd never do something like that. just affirms an in-group dynamic about the 'right way' to have opinions here
