Won't priority mode make it harder for new "good" accounts to get discovered?

TL;DR — Yes. But a more tractable problem than classifying all the uninteresting accounts that annoy people.

Finally you’re using “accounts” rather than “users” to describe FIDs that should not be accounted for in your DAU reporting!

If they are interchangeable, then how about reporting DAA (daily active accounts) rather than DAU (daily active users)?
