A few months back, I met @music2work2 right here on the music channel. We ended up messaging a bit when he invited me to create a collaborative playlist with him for his company, Musicto. Over the next few months, we'd add songs to our playlist and email one another with details and stories about our picks. Last week, we reached our 22-song goal, and our playlist, along with our discussions, was just been published! https://www.musicto.com/playlist/the-orange-line/ This was one of the coolest music sharing and discovery experiences I’ve had in years, and I’m thankful to Andrew for inviting me to join him on this journey and for all the great new music I discovered. Check out Andrew. Check out Musicto. Check out our playlist. Meet cool people. Share cool music. repeat.

This is sweet. What's the development process and/or back and forth like?

Did you have any rubric for how to add or what constituted a must add? Not trying to pry just trying to understand how much is process vs just regular conversation Love playlist making

I think it’s really up to the curator. One of the things I loved about the process was the research and discovery of complementary tracks. Think of it like DJing — you want to play songs that all sort of thematically or sonically flow together
