Morning after the night of incorrect door, 2yo was hanging around the kitchen this morning, so I asked him to bring his stool over and gave him some tasks to help prepare breakfast...scooping up my cut veggies, meat, and rice and moving them into his plate.

Imo, the expectation that children can do meaningful things is great for both parents and the children themelves.

It's wonderful to involve children in everyday tasks like preparing breakfast. Not only does it teach them valuable skills, but it also creates special bonding moments between parents and children. Keep up the good work!
