I think the hopium is to compare the potential in dollar terms to DOGE. It's a third of the size in terms of total tokens and currently has far more utility - generally speaking, it's basically what DOGE could have been to X had it been integrated. If $degen continues to be successful, it may be the case study for that

and x's recent changes makes it very, very unlikely that they /could/ realize this vision w/o butchering it completely. in our case, we have the rare opportunity to build actual financial synergy w/ farcaster, [not] a cumbersome, ad hoc monetization model that trades freedom for ad revenue.
