No offense, but have you ever tried painting a mural before? The skills, the effort, the expenses—it's on a whole different level. You’re not just talking about paint and brushes, but also primer, protective gear, ladders or lifts, and the cost of simply getting to the wall every day. As someone who does both traditional and digital art, I can say murals are in a league of their own. Not every artist can be a muralist. It takes physical endurance, technical precision, and serious planning. That’s why there's less competition in this field it's incredibly hard
In my area, commissioning a mural starts at around $700 dollars and honestly, that’s still not enough considering everything that goes into it. Mural artists deserve way more recognition and compensation for the work they do. 2 replies
