Just finished the Caro LBJ series. Would recommend it if you’re looking for a big project to take on. The 3rd book is what I’d read if you only have time for one - perhaps the best book I’ve ever read and a fantastic behind the scenes look at how Washington used to work

I’ve only read the 4th book and it was really well done — super readable for how detailed he gets. I should read the 3rd, thanks for the reco

If you liked the 4th I think you will LOVE the 3rd. It’s definitely a cut above which is saying something because 4 is no slouch
