Andong jjimdak: Korean braised chicken delight! 🍗
1. Sauté Aromatics: Heat some oil in a large pot. Add minced garlic and dried chilies, and stir-fry until fragrant.
2. Add Chicken: Toss in chicken pieces and cook until lightly browned.
3. Make the Sauce: Pour in soy sauce, sugar, mirin, oyster sauce, gochujang, and water. Stir well to combine.
4. Add Vegetables: Add potatoes, carrots, onions, and cabbage. Let everything simmer for about 20 minutes until the vegetables are tender and flavors have melded together.
5. Finish with Noodles: Add the soaked glass noodles and simmer for another 5-10 minutes until the noodles are soft and the sauce thickens.
Pro Tip: This dish gets even better the next day(if there's any left, that is!)😋
