I agree, this can only really work in specific use cases (I would hate to have to sell my house because I low-balled my harberger estimate 😬 ). However, this can totally be used in the crypto space IMO.

TIL about harberger tax: Every citizen and corporation would self-assess the value of assets they possess, pay a roughly 7 percent tax on these values, and is required to sell the assets to anyone willing to purchase them at this self-assessed price
