Did you know that Steven Soderberg made a remix of Steven Spielberg's Raiders of The Lost Arc as an exercise in order to study its superb blocking and editing ? He re-colored the film to be monochromatic, removed all sound/dialogue/music, and re-scored it with the music of Trent Reznor. this film looks DAMN GOOD in B&W, due in part to cinematographer Douglas Slocombe who cut his teeth shooting noir from the 1940s through the 1970s.
