Hackers Who Breached Bybit — Lazarus Group
ZachXBT provided evidence that the hackers behind the Bybit breach were indeed from the Lazarus Group, as they used addresses linked to the hacks of BingX and Phemex.
The scammers utilized Chainflip tools to swap ETH for other assets across different networks. Chainflip itself, despite being aware of the situation, was unable to disable all functionalities due to decentralization—only some of them.
There is no longer a need to worry about Bybit, as a total of five institutions have provided the exchange with credit support amounting to 120k ETH.
Despite being the largest hack in history, the market has handled it well.
