I've been vocally critical about the recent pivot from posts to coins, but haven't offered alternative ideas in favor of posts / collectibles. To those still building this (@rodeodotclub), here are some things I've been wanting in the ecosystem that I think could be positive sum for all participants: 1) subscription minting: remove the friction of these 24h-to-mint attention games and just directly support creators I already (and heuristically) may like. Instead of hoping we cross paths on social feeds, I'd rather preload a wallet with funds that go to creators I choose as they mint future works. Then give me a weekly summary of what I minted and share it as a post. I should be able to see a projection for how many mints I can get over time. Also, subscribe to curators! 2) swap pool: given they're all priced the same at mint, collectors should be able to freely exchange unwanted posts for others. Maybe I collected too many editions and want to get something else. Collectors could receive swap offers. 1/2

@garrett
definitely agree on subscription minting we need more curation tools and more fun mechanism design around curation
