I’ve always been very adamant about not spending time on Twitter and not talking to too many people about my ideas. The value of thinking and working in silos is preservation of original thought. You are not influenced or swayed by the narrative, language, or ideas of an industry. We are all subject to memetic behavior, no matter how much we try to convince ourselves otherwise. The downsides to doing so are largely removing oneself for the conversation. When you think alone, no one hears the ideas. When you build in silence, no one knows what are are working on. With Agro, I am taking a completely different approach. This means hoping into the conversation and meeting with more founders and builders to learn from one another. Farcaster seems like the best place to start. I’m not sure what the end result with be — but I will be challenging myself to get out more in an attempt to A/B test my intuition around the best way to build a product. Time to run.
