Growing an L1 is different than growing retained daily active users of a social network. They require different strategies.

Farcaster feels more like a L1 ecosystem than just a social network to me

The embedded financial rail makes it so much more than just a social network

This might be across as hyperbole

But I really do see Farcaster as having more resemblance to early days of something like Rome than early days of twitter

Building a natively social network with real economic activity is a powerful concept 

economic activity > retention 

the foundations are much stronger

I don’t know what an L1 ecosystem feels like. To me FC feels like something we haven’t ever had. A builders network on a mission (even if broad and loosely defined).
