Actually base camp isn't the same as other coin launchers, BaseCamp launches the entire supply into a uniswap pool, locks liquidity and gives the creator 5% of supply and aprox 75% of trading fees, with no bonding curves or other steps. Very different than a lot of the current coin launchers

Basecamp.wtf is a token launchpad that launched a few weeks ago.  Rumored to be built by the /sudoswap team.  Could this be the pump.fun of base?

No initial liquidity needed, only Base gas fees. Uniswap liquidity locked on launch. Creators earn ⅔ of LP fees and keep 5% of supply.

yeah agreed that there’s not enough liquidity on base for random tokens and memecoins

Need more real project tokens on base or a big airdrop that creates some liquidity

maybe but probably not

still need to have liquidity for tokens somehow and pumpfun was doing that but that's not how it works with basecamp, it's basically a contract creation+lock+LP of a onesided uni v3
