Multiple people have told me they started to create a FC account then stopped once they had to connect a wallet

Yeah both valid points but I do think connecting a wallet is what makes FC unique and it will allow for more innovation as more build on top of the FC protocol.


The NFT feed that’s tied to users wallet address is one of the coolest features of FC imo

I must admit I hesitated as well. I would have expected to sign up using only a wallet, or only an email, but it goes against my crypto habits to associate both.

Also, as a hardware wallet user, it felt unusual having to install Metamask on my phone just to create a dummy wallet. That was extra onboarding friction.
