Think about the millions raised and liquid tokens allocated to teams to do it. 

And here we are.

That doesn't explain all of this volume and why they're more dominant on base vs uniswap

Yeah it looks like there's AERO rewards emissions for the LPs

Trading fees -> more liquidity -> better spreads -> more volume -> more trading fees. 

Not sure. Just guessing. If people are locking their liquidity in Aero because they’re emitting AERO rewards, then it’s a different question. But I don’t think they’re emitting rewards, are they?
