Can web3 music help fill the public goods gap that the Bandcamp sale has opened up?   

Not convinced any web3 music projects are positioned for this today but maybe over time.

web3 music platforms need to become much better products for the average music fan to use. Most of the web3 tech should be abstracted away.

Good question. Here’s a few things I could envision web3 improving:

1. Direct relationships between artists & fans
2. Artists obtaining better data about their fans 
3. Gamifying music discovery and building reputation around it

I'm curious, what can Web3 offer to music fans and artists that you'd like to see, which isn't available now?
