is it just me or is perplexity totally washed? they have no moat, have barely any market share, lack clear direction, wasting money on celebrity marketing, the list of red flags goes on. who is funding this?

Narratives are powerful and they do have the best brand of the AI companies fwiw even though their product is lacking compared to competitors
