hot take: pre-product tokens are a distraction, and should be avoided until you have built out the stickiness in your product. The bandwidth you've to give to manage the community + price action can be better used elsewhere

The community will end up being quite different if there’s a token involved from day 1. Superteam, for example, did very well. There was never a token involved. You could make money still but not through a token. That got them enough glass chewers to make a dent in the ecosystem. If they launched a token early on to incentivise community members, a lot of farmers would fill up the space
