In some cases, yes i think it does 

There’s certain tech features like speed and performance that beat out community in certain applications.

Financial applications will generally choose tech over community bc people who use financial applications care more about performance than community

Social applications care more about community than performance so community is much more important in social applications but true sustainable community is hard to attract and maintain
