I thought I knew how to go slow. I was really wrong. Naval was right about the monkey. I thought I understood before, no, not even close. Still think the stream is important, except, disconnecting from the stream completely is equally important. Especially at bringing things to market.

I’ve heard him refer to the mind as a monkey jumping everywhere. I took it to mean an issue of focus and attention and the mind is naturally in the state of moving between things. The way to combat that is by quieting the mind. One thinks of ways to quiet the mind, they do it, and they think it works when they see some changes. But the monkey is way more in there than we many times know. This is the way I’m interpreting atleast.
