I think X has done a really good job at accelerating independentish media on the platform - better video experience - X articles - Spaces which is pretty aligned with what they were going for, enabling people with platforms/distributions to "go direct" the main thing i sort of resent is that it feels like a pretty homogenous set of views that are amplified because the platform is so politically coded now
