Crypto really is low status and trashy. It has afforded me a lot of opportunity but it’s also embarrassing and not something I am excited to tell people about

I tend to agree. I hesitate sometimes to tell the average person about crypto bc of all the baggage that comes with it.

Crypto needs more taste and thoughtfulness around messaging and culture.

Flip side of this is that there’s little barrier to entry so basically anyone can hustle and get into crypto 

It’s also easier for good people and good teams to stand out if they’re consistent and willing to wade through all the baggage that comes with crypto
