BMW X5 gets anniversary special edition

In honor of the 25th anniversary of the BMW X5 crossover, the North American division of the company made a special edition Silver Anniversary Edition.

The design is distinguished by the Lime Rock Gray shade with black accents in the decor, a Silver Anniversary Edition sign and 20-inch M Sport wheels. The X5 also received a roof rack and a towing hitch.

The interior has sports seats, carbon trim, a sign with the name of the special edition, all-weather mats.

The anniversary version is based on the xDrive40i modification with a 380-horsepower gasoline "turbo six", a 48-volt starter-generator and an 8-range "automatic".

Production of the special edition will start in August, a total of about 1,000 crossovers will be built at a price of $ 81,075.
