at a high level if nouns as a world had a super strong OE mint patronage culture then we don't even really need to worry about "small grants". it would naturally be solved without governance.

one of the reasons I think collecting as a behavior isn't super strong yet is b/c there isn't any place to show it. you collect pokemons b/c you love the feeling of your pokedex filling up and getting to the complete collection.

we need a beautiful and delightful product here to get this minting culture going.

tbf, if you compare nouner and nounsfolk wallets, you’ll see that minting culture is already very strong amongst nounsfolk

i’ve noticed as a nouner, who spends most of my time enjoying the nounsfolk lifestyle, i mint multiple nounish nfts per day, likely more than any other nouner

us nounsfolk support each other

encouraging artists and helping them validate ideas is another interesting design space

the fact over two dozen quite well known artists have joined the Sketchbook proof of concept shows that there’s a need

it takes a lot of courage to overcome the apprehension of releasing new work <3

i’ve noticed your patronage is quite strong too 40, but yeah, many other nouners aren’t patrons of most nounish creators. 

if we promote more f(r)ee mints, then minting for fun, is barely a financial decision and does loads for the culture. 

minting is the best way to encourage people onchain.
